The computational mathematics group is conducting research at the
boundary between informatics and mathematics with a focus on
applications. Most of the research is concerned with the
development of numerical algorithms and accompanying theory.
For more information about the research activity see here.
The group has 7 professors, 1 post doc and 5 PhD students. Our offices are located on the 5th, 9th and 10th floors of the Niels Henrik Abel building. The group is central to the new Center of Excellence: Mathematics for applications.
